Conditions of Use & Terms and Conditions

General Requirements

The individual signing the Booking Form has the authority to sign contracts on behalf of The Hirer.

The Hirer will appoint an individual/s as the Camp Leader/s who accept responsibility for ensuring all participants and accompanying adults comply with these Terms and Conditions. 

Failure to comply with the Terms and Conditions may result in your group being asked to leave the site and may affect future bookings.

All accompanying adults must hold valid and up-to-date Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance.

The Camp Leader/s must take reasonable steps to prevent damage to the hall and grounds. 

Any damage caused must be reported to the booking secretary & will be the responsibility of the Hirer.

The deposit will be refunded subject to the building and grounds being left clean, no damage and no breach of Noise Policy.

Use of the Hall

The hall is not staffed; it is the hirer's responsibility to unlock the hall and set it up to your requirements and return furniture to its original location at the end of the hire period.

Access to the hall for participants should be via the rear door from the car park (this is also the designated disabled access route).

Kitchen facilities may be used for staff washing up. 

The hall must be fully secured whenever left unattended.

The site must be vacated by the agreed departure time, with all hall, kitchen and toilet areas cleaned thoroughly.

Keys must be returned to the designated key safe at the end of the booking.

Use of the Field

No vehicles are allowed on the grass under any circumstances.

Equipment must be carried to the camping area from the designated parking area

No digging of pits or trenches.

Open fires are not permitted.

Only Trangia stoves or approved camping stoves may be used for cooking or boiling water.

Before departure, check the washing up shed is clean and conduct a full sweep of the field for: Tent pegs, Litter, Spent matches or debris

Noise Policy

Please show courtesy to neighbouring residents at all times by ensuring.

There is no disruptive behaviour, such as shouting, loud music, or rowdy conduct

No ball games are permitted after 8:30 PM.

A quiet site is required between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.

Breaches of the Noise Policy will result in the loss of your deposit.


Waste & Environment

All rubbish and food waste must be placed in the correct on-site bins provided.

Chemical toilets should not be emptied on site due to the sensitive nature of the septic tank.

Wet clothing may only be dried in the boiler room, using the line provided.

No dogs are permitted on site, with the exception of assistance dogs.


None of the provisions of this Hire Agreement are intended to or will operate to confer any benefit pursuant to the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 on a person who is named as a party to this Hire Agreement.
